What were your dreams in founding the society?

My dream was to have an affordable studio space and to continue to be surrounded by a community of artists that was reflective of the studios while attending ACAD.

Did you ever think it would last this long?

I hadn't even thought about it at that time, but I am very pleased that it still thriving

If you were blowing out the sixteen candles on the society's birthday cake what would you be wishing for?

I would wish that UAS continues to be an integral part of the Calgary arts community and that it has many years ahead.

What advice would you give artists just emerging from ACAD today?

If you want to be successful as an artist, it is like anything else. If you do it, it will come. Keep pursuing what interests you and let your practice evolve naturally. It requires a lot of energy and effort and you may come across a lot of stumbling blocks due to life's challenges. Becoming active in your local community can help keep you connected.

Where were you at as an artist when you made this work?

I had a studio at Untitled when it was on the 4th floor on 7th Avenue
Just as the land we walk on is layered over millions of years from supporting life, death and Mother Nature, our body is moulded through a similar process of growth, cells forming and dying on a continuum that seems equal to infinity. The state of the roundness is all over the place. Circles are useful in explaining infinity; its diameter cannot be measured definitively. The same is true of language - I am endlessly curious about how it is constantly evolving to our condition.
Stories get eaten up and digested forming morals and forecast behaviour. My art practice for the past few years has involved piecing things together to form whole — mostly consumer-ready paper-type stuff. Words are in there but hidden – they're there for content and to play around with the meaning and to transform into something new.

What would you like viewers to know about your current work?

The idea that everything we see is made up of tiny bits of things is a notion that I find fascinating.

Netent Casinos

Another contributing factor towards the success of the Net Entertainment games would be the high entertainment netent software casino value provided through rich graphics, intriguing bonus games, entertaining animations and progressive features and functions. The games from Net Entertainment are certainly not just games! They are productions from your team of highly dedicated and motivated individuals, spanning a wide range of talents with one thing in common - a love for casino games!
